MAINGEAR Zero returns as a full next-gen lineup. The New Jersey builder wants full-size GeForce RTX 50-series power with almost no visible motherboard cables. Custom configs start at $2,699. Pre-configured models start on maingear.com from $2,799.
That clean interior is not a marketing filter. Instead, MAINGEAR uses patented MG-RC rear-connection tech. The design moves motherboard power and data headers to the rear and underside of reverse-connect boards. As a result, the glass side shows the GPU, cooler, fans, and memory instead of a cable nest. Meanwhile, a continuous 4mm tempered-glass curve wraps the front and side with no seam. MAINGEAR also fully diffuses every RGB light source.
What the new Zero chassis shows
MAINGEAR sells the machine as a desk showpiece first. Wraparound glass keeps the build readable from every angle. That holds when the PC sits powered off. Cooling is not mid-tower fluff either. In fact, MAINGEAR lists seven fans, including reverse-blade intakes. Airflow runs front to back. Additionally, a 360mm AIO radiator can sit as top exhaust.
The limited Zero Launch Edition pushes the display idea further. It ships with two tool-free stands that snap into the chassis floor. One holds figurines. One holds brick builds. Collectibles sit next to the hardware in the same cooled airflow. Launch Edition systems also add a TRYX Panorama SE AIO. Its curved panoramic OLED can loop video, show a theme, or run custom content. MAINGEAR will sell those stands separately too, and the company plans community 3D-print files.
Prebuilt SKUs, prices, and who each Zero targets
Here is the curated ladder from the July 30 press release. Memory is Kingston FURY DDR5 with AMD EXPO or Intel XMP validated per config. Site prebuilts start around $2,799. Notably, the press release also cites $2,699 as the custom floor.

Those flagship tags matter if you already watched AI-driven GPU pricing land on other machines. A $6,199–$6,499 RTX 5090 prebuilt is a different buy from a gaming laptop like the ASUS ROG Strix G18 2026. It is also a different kind of flex than a collector laptop such as HP’s Ferrari AI PC. Zero is for people who want a desk PC that looks finished the second the glass goes on.
Warranty, shipping, and the honest tradeoffs
Expert builders in New Jersey hand-build every Zero. Each system includes a one-year warranty, and buyers can upgrade that to three years. Lifetime MAINGEAR support comes standard. Pre-configured systems typically ship in 1–2 business days. Customs take longer. MAINGEAR covers contiguous U.S. shipping at no charge. Buyers can check Bread Pay financing on approved credit. You can also skip the SKUs and open the online configurator if you already know your CPU, GPU, and storage plan.
The tradeoff is simple. Buyers pay boutique money for MG-RC compatibility, panoramic glass, and factory cable work. That same tidy build would otherwise eat a weekend of DIY cable management. The platform also locks you into a reverse-connect motherboard ecosystem, so not every aftermarket part will drop in cleanly later. The top RTX 5090 configs sit in premium territory. Still, for a compact desk PC with zero motherboard spaghetti, MAINGEAR just made the clean look much more turnkey.
